Innervisions has announced that they will release the debut full-length of home-listening act Tokyo Black Star in March.
For listeners familiar with the lead single from the album, "Game Over," Black Shipsshould come as little surprise. The focus here is on worlds of sound that employ analogue synthesizers and warm, rounded drums. It's not exactly chill-out, as there are beats to be had throughout, but it isn't exactly peak-time fodder either. (Although "Caballero" comes close by its end.)
