Uncategorizable instrumental electronics from Tempa (not to be confused with the label of the same name, of course) whose productions hop around from the strangeness of 'Nightfall Manoeuvres' and its Tom Waits-meets-gamelan-ensemble-in-a-film-noir-soundtrack vibes, all the way over to the tricky jazz-inflected rhythms of 'Fallback' without breaking a proverbial sweat. Elsewhere, the likes of 'Time To Run' are evocative of Shawn Lee's funk excursions while 'Elevation' pushes Flying Lotus-like buttons in fine style...www.boomkat.com
